Message From the President
Harry Litten
I would like to take this opportunity to
thank each of you for supporting the Forest County Historical Society.
We now have nearly 300 members and continue to grow.
In 2006, we will have our usual fund-raising
events. In addition, the Historical Society is supporting the efforts
of the Tionesta Sesquicentennial Committee. This collaborative effort
provides additional opportunities for anyone who wants to be involved in
community events to do so. I offer many thanks to those of you who
have participated in Historical Society events in the past, and extend
an open invitation to anyone who would like to join our efforts this year.
The Annual Spring Dinner will be held on
April 24, 2006 at the Methodist Church in Marienville at 6:00 p.m.
Please join us and hear about all of the exciting events that are taking
place through and with the Historical Society. |
