The Forest County 4-H program is selling a new edition of the county plat book. Plat books detail land ownership on a county-by-county basis. They are a convenient reference for local governments, private realty, surveying companies, and the general public. Funds raised from the sale of the Forest County Plat Book will support local 4-H clubs. The new book cost $35 and can be purchased from several local businesses including: B&H Store, Countyline Market, Marienville Home Improvement and Shoup’s Hardware. The books are also available at the Penn State Extension Office in Tionesta, Forest County Visitor’s Center and the Assessment office in the Forest County Courthouse.
Forest County post cards are available at the Visitor Center in Tionesta and several businesses throughout the County. Choose from fall scenery taken from above Hunter's Station Golf Course on the Allegheny River, a frosty winter scene taken in Guitonville, a waterfall on the Allegheny National Forest or a collage of recreation opprotunities in Forest County. These Forest County mementos are 50 cents each.
